R & D

Pneuma System
- No secondary pollution
- High solid concentration (up to 90%)
- Dredging depth up to 100 m
- High reflow distance
- Selective removal of thin layer
- No deflagration risks
Know-How
- Pneuma provides a range of dredging pumps with sizes from 40 to 1800 m3/h
- Pneuma technology must be customized according to the working conditions (specific gravity and viscosity of pumped material, depth, delivery distance, etc.)
- Pneuma provides support to the customers during the design and manufacturing of Pneuma dredges
- Pneuma can also provide systems for the hydraulic lift of the pumps and barge displacement

R & D
- Pneuma technicians adapt the pump design according to customer requirements, such as:
- geometry
- suction and discharge pipes
- hydraulic power pack
- filling and emptying time
- Pneuma technology is developed with the support of the Energy Engineering Department (University of Florence)
- fluid dynamics analysis
- hydraulic power pack design
- shovel design for low thickness material
- monitoring and control systems
- experimental tests
